After a fun filled morning of family photos, I heard dad ask his family, ”What should we do today?” This epitomized my experience with this family. All through the photo shoot, the family laughed and played together. It was natural for them to make each other laugh. They truly enjoyed each others’ company and valued the time together with each other.
I am lucky for the display of love and joy that this family displayed during their photoshoot. Busy schedules, work, and chores often take my focus away from the things that I truly value. I feel that without stopping to pause, my life tends to become a dictation of things that need to get done…not what I really want my life to be. But, I must remind myself I do have a choice. I have a choice in how, and with who, I spend my time and energy. Thank you for such a great reminder!
